Interventional Cardiologist

Dr Seif El-Jack

MBBS, FRCP (UK), FRACP, FCSANZ, FACC, FSCAI

 

Seif El-Jack is a general and interventional cardiologist based at Auckland’s North Shore Hospital where he is the Director of the CardioVascular Unit, Waitemata DHB. Starting in the UK, Dr El-Jack finished his general cardiology training at Greenlane and Auckland City Hospitals where he also completed an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship. He then undertook a further interventional cardiovascular fellowship at the renowned William Beaumont Hospital, Michigan, USA before returning back to NZ.

 

Since 2011, Dr El-Jack has also undertaken annual visits performing charity stenting procedures at Colonial War Memorial Hospital in Suva with the support of the Friends of Fiji Heart Foundation.

 

Dr El-Jack has a keen interest in academic cardiology and leads a busy Interventional Cardiology Research Programme at North Shore Hospital, which actively participates in international and local research with several relevant publications in the field.

 

Dr El-Jack is a Fellow of the College of Physicians of Edinburgh, the Royal Autsralasian College of Physicians, the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand, The American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (USA).
