Dr Bharat Bali is one of the emerging leaders in cardiology in Fiji.

After his Masters in Internal Medicine, he underwent General and Invasive Cardiology Fellowship in Auckland, New Zealand where he trained in imaging cardiology, coronary angiography/angioplasty and pacemaker implantation.

Following his fellowship, Dr Bali returned to a Specialist position in Fiji where he provides Internal Medicine and Cardiology Services in Lautoka Hospital.

Dr Bharat Bali with his local team performed Fiji’s first landmark local independant coronary angioplasty/stenting(PCI) at CWM Hospital in September 2020.

He performs permanent pacemaker implantations in Fiji. He is driven towards developing and improving imaging and invasive cardiology services.He is also very actively involved with the visiting cardiac valve surgery teams and management of rheumatic heart disease patients.

Dr Bharat Bali will be holding specialist cardiology clinics and specialized cardiac procedures at Heart International.
