Rahul undertook medical and radiology training at the University of Nottingham, UK after which he completed fellowships in Interventional radiology and Abdominal Imaging at McGill University in Montreal between 2012-2014.

Following this Rahul moved to Auckland in 2014 to take up position of Consultant Interventional Radiologist for the Waitemata District Health Board. Rahul joined Mercy Radiology in August 2015.
